Various media outlets are reporting that allegations of an incident between Manchester United’s Patrice Evra and Liverpool’s Luis Suarez have been reported to match referee Andre Marriner at the end of the Liverpool v Manchester United game at Anfield today.
The match ended 1-1 and in an interview with French TV channel Canal+ Evra appears to have made an allegation about something that Suarez reportedly said to him repeatedly during the game.
Suarez is no stranger to controversy having been suspended by Ajax for biting a PSV Eindhoven player prior to his eventual transfer to Liverpool for £22.8m in January this year.
