Fabregas ‘not for sale at any price’

July 26, 2013 by Paul Chan

Manchester United were rebuffed again in their bid to sign Barcelona playmaker Cesc Fabregas when Barca Vice President Josep Maria Bartomeu stated that the Spanish international and former Arsenal captain was ‘not for sale at any price’.

Bartomeu said: “United’s interest for Cesc Fabregas is obvious, he’s a great player but it does not bother us.

“It does not matter what they offer us, we are not selling him.”

United manager David Moyes revealed that talks were still ongoing but the latest statement from the Nou Camp is a blow to the club and Moyes who is seeking to make a statement of intent for his new club with reports emerging of a bid for former United favourite Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid.
