Manchester City Elite Development Squad playmaker Denis Suarez has joined Barcelona.
Suarez was signed from Celta Vigo in 2011 but made just two senior appearances during his time at City.
The Spanish U20 international was named City’s young player of the year in 2012 and featured in pre-season tour matches against Supersport United and Amazulu FC.
He is expected to play for Barcelona B during the current season.
