City manager Manuel Pellegrini might be boosted by the news that David Silva will soon be fit enough to return to the City squad after a thigh injury suffered while on international duty.
The Chilean admitted that Silva would not be fit enough to play at Aston Villa this Saturday but could be fit enough to return to the Manchester City squad in time for the visit of Bayern Munich in the Champions League next week.
Pellegrini said: “Saturday might be too soon but perhaps he could be fit for Bayern, we will see tomorrow.”
