Manchester City’s kids hit Bayern Munich for six

November 25, 2014 by Tony Bugby

MAN CITY UNDER-19, 6, BAYERN MUNICH UNDER-19, 0

Manchester City under-19’s hit Bayern Munich for six to maintain their 100-per-cent record in the UEFA Youth League.

They made it five wins out of five and followed their 4-1 win in Germany with another impressive display, this time at Hyde United.

City had the game won inside the opening half hour in which they were 3-0 ahead through goals from Manchester lads Tosin Adarabioyi, and Brandon Barker and Kosovan Bersant Celina.

They added three further goals in the second period, two from Eire under-21 international Jack Byrne and another for Celina.

Bayern created only one clear-cut chance in stoppage time when Lucas Scholl, son of German legend Mehmet, brought a fine save from Angus Gunn, son of former Norwich and Scotland keeper Bryan.
