MANCHESTER UNITED FACE PRESTON NORTH END OR SHEFFIELD UNITED IF THEY CAN BEAT CAMBRIDGE UNITED IN FOURTH ROUND REPLAY
MANCHESTER CITY WERE KNOCKED OUT OF THE FA CUP BY MIDDLESBROUGH

Manchester United face a trip to another lower league club after the draw for the Fifth Round of the FA Cup was made tonight.

If United overcome League Two side Cambridge United in their Fourth Round replay next week following a 0-0 draw at the Abbey Stadium they will travel to the winners of the replay between Preston North End and Sheffield United which will be played at Bramall Lane.

Both sides are chasing promotion from League One, with Preston flying high in fourth place with Sheffield United just outside the play-off positions in eighth and they would relish the opportunity to play against Louis Van Gaal’s team.

United’s replay date at Old Trafford with Cambridge United has been confirmed for Tuesday February 3, kick off at 7.45pm.

Manchester City were surprisingly beaten 2-0 at the Etihad by Middlesbrough in a weekend of Cup upsets which also saw Chelsea dumped out of the FA Cup by Bradford City.

FIFTH ROUND PROPER FULL DRAW

1 Crystal Palace v Liverpool or Bolton Wanderers
2 Arsenal v Middlesbrough
3 Aston Villa v Leicester City
4 West Bromwich Albion v West Ham United
5 Bradford City v Sunderland or Fulham
6 Blackburn Rovers v Stoke City
7 Derby County v Reading
8 Preston North End or Sheffield United v Cambridge United or Manchester United.
