Tough draw for Manchester United as Manchester City get easy home draw to kick off FA Cup defence

December 2, 2019 by Paul Chan

Manchester United will travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers in a repeat of last season’s quarter final clash in which the Reds were beaten by Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in a pulsating encounter at Molineux.

Holders Manchester City will host League Two play off hopefuls Port Vale.

But the eye-catching tie of the round has to be a Merseyside derby to be staged at Anfield with Liverpool chasing a first Premier League title in 30 years and Everton struggling despite spending millions in the summer.

Oldham Athletic missed out on the third round after a home defeat to Burton Albion.
