Full-back Harry Ditchfield has signed a new deal at Hyde United.
The Hattersley-born player won last season’s players’ player and supporters’ player-of-the-year awards and has turned down higher offers to stay at the club.
Ditchfield, who plays primarily at right back, has attracted interest from other clubs given his excellent form last season.
Assistant manager Martyn Coyne said ”It’s great that Harry has committed for another season, a local lad playing for his local side.
“Harry won supporters and players player of the year award last season and we will be looking for him to build on his excellent performances on the pitch from last season.”
