Manchester United 0, Wolves 1 (Player Ratings)

Manchester United fell to a 15th Premier League defeat of the season as Pablo Sarabia’s late 22 yard free kick proved to be the difference between Wolves – who have now won 5 Premier League games in a row for the first time – and the Reds who slipped to 14th.

PLAYER RATINGS – Manchester United 0, Wolves 1

Andre Onana: 6. Collected a cutback by Jorgen Strand Larsen but could do little with the free kick.

Tyler Fredricson: 7. Encouraging debut.

Victor Lindelof: 6. Veteran helped Tyler Fredricson out.

Harry Amass: 7. In his natural wide left role, did well and showed some of his skill and defended well.

Noussair Mazraoui: 6. Started as a centre back.

Christian Eriksen: 7. Some dangerous set pieces including a corner and a free kick which needed Dan Bentley to save. Late ball into the box deserved a better finish from Mason Mount.

Manuel Ugarte: 6. Looked tired at times.

Patrick Dorgu: 7. Unfamiliar right sided role but his crosses from the right didn’t have a queue of people waiting to convert.

Kobbie Mainoo: 6. Tried to win a penalty with a dubious looking fall in the box. Went for goal with long range effort from win

Alejandro Garnacho: 6. Not enough end product but will feel he should have had one assist when he laid the ball on a plate for Rasmus Hojlund.

Rasmus Hojlund: 5. Slow again to react to a loose ball allowing Dan Bentley to race off his line to clear. Took a heavy knock in the first half, and in the second half went clear but was robbed of the ball before he could shoot. Could not reach a tantalising ball across the six yard box.

Mason Mount (on for Kobbie Mainoo, 59): 6. Blazed over late in the game.

Bruno Fernandes (on for Manuel Ugarte, 59): 6. Could not influence United from deeper role and an injury time free kick skied underlined his distribution which was poor.

Diogo Dalot (on for Patrick Dorgu, 59): 6. Exhausted performance.

Chido Obi (on for Rasmus Hojlund, 70): 6. Added his physical presence to the United frontline.

Leny Yoro (on for Victor Lindelof, 78): No time to mark.
