Manchester City drawn against Bayern Munich in the Champions League again

August 28, 2014 by Paul Chan

Manchester City will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League for the third time in four seasons.

They will also face CSKA Moscow for the second season in succession while Serie A runners-up AS Roma complete Group E in what looks like another tough group stage for the Barclays Premier League champions.

Last season, City earned nine points out of a possible 12 against CSKA and Bayern Munich as they qualified for the knockout phase.

City were earlier drawn against Sheffield Wednesday in the third round of the Capital One Cup, ties will be played on Tuesday September 23 or Wednesday September 24.
