Home FA Cup draw for Oldham Athletic

November 10, 2014 by Tony Bugby

Oldham Athletic has been draw at home to either non-league Weston-Super-Mare or Doncaster Rovers in the second round of the FA Cup.

Latics will have to wait before discovering their opponents whose game was called off on Saturday 10 minutes before kick off through a waterlogged pitch in Somerset.

If Doncaster triumph, it will mean a first return to Latics for former manager Paul Dickov between December 5/8th when second-round ties are held.

Latics booked their passage with a 1-0 home win against League One rivals Leyton Orient.

Cup giantkillers Worcester City, who won at Coventry City, have been drawn at another League One club, Scunthorpe United.

And Warrington Town, from their eighth tier of English football, have been drawn at Conference club Gateshead having beaten League Two side Exeter City in a live televised match.

One of the pick of the games is the North East clash between Hartlepool and renowned FA Cup giantkillers Blyth Spartans.

Conference club Chester, who won at League Two club Southend, are away to Barnsley while Dover, also from the Conference, are away to Cheltenham having beaten Morecambe, from League Two.
